28th November 2014 - What a wonderful Autumn we have had so far; The temperatures here have been reasonable - only giving us a couple of very light frosts here and there that fade away before most of us have risen. Of late we have seen the most incredibly clear night skies - showing off the star studded universe as a blanket of diamonds. A true spectactle anywhere - but owing to our relatively low light pollution here in the most westerly region of the UK we do get an especially wonderful opportunity! The winds have also been fairly sedate so far for the time of year and I especially enjoy when the direction turns; being able to hear the night sea easily form the entrance to Trevaylor. Our daily cliff top walks are made even more enjoyable by the presence of Hawks and Falcons swooping and diving in spectacluar form on the air currents over the cliffs. Earlier in this season we saw several Choughs in the vicinity too. We have been delighted to be able to welcome so many guest arrivals - most of you in your campervans and motorhomes at this time of year though I have to say! The grass is still growing well - in fact Charlie is out mowing right now. Our little pony is not able to keep up with it all - his belly is starting to look a little too rounded - and that's before Christmas! ...And on that note we will be looking forward to greeting a few more of you during the festive period too - see you soon - Michelle & Charlie
