As March approaches we are getting a real flavour of the approaching season; the lambs are in the fields now and the daffodils are poking the heads up soon to be in full blossom. The sparrows have got very vocal again and I’ve been aware of their fervent chattering in the bushes – whilst others carry on busily coming and going from the eaves of our shop with strands of hay and bits of moss. Spring is in the air.
We have seen quite a few guests come and go from site – mostly with motorhomes and campervans for a few days at a time – and have also had the pleasure of welcoming a few caravanners for slightly longer periods. Our holiday homes were full for the half-term and it was wonderful to see so many families and friends out and about.
We ourselves took advantage of the beautiful surroundings in which we live and took our kids out for as many day trips as we could. Walking, surfing, cycling, visiting little towns and villages and feasting at a few of the many delightful eating establishments the area has to offer. It’s been a great start… And if we haven’t seen you yet – we hope to see you here soon!
